There ARE things that can be done but Alphabet Soup prefers tragedy over sanity. On SEVERAL occasions with mass shooters we've heard (insert shitbird's name) was known to the FBI, or known to local Law Enforcement.

So, what can we do? I in many cases, enforce the current laws on the books. Where is the glamor in that though? :coffee:

Hit two birds with one stone, anyone who crosses the border gets a gun as a welcoming gift!

In all honesty I'm for more people being armed. If person A intentionally fires a gun with the intent to harm another human, anyone in the area should be legally allowed to return the favor. Just my 2 cents

It's pretty rare that it works out that way.

I'm 100% in favor of protecting your property.  I've tried to talk my g/f in to getting some kind of home protection.

Out in public, it's a small percentage of people who have the wherewithal to actually keep their shit together when someone pulls a gun on them.  Cops included.

Little disclaimer.. I seem to have a lot of those.  I'm not allowed to own firearms anymore.  I used to have a house full of them.  At one point, about 15 years ago, I had about 2000 rounds of ammo tucked away in my apartment. Bought it off of the internet back then.  lol.

I have some photos of some "assault" (that's a joke) rifles I bought back when they were still banned.

2,000 rounds... those are rookie numbers.

That's only about day at the range if you're working.

Pre-2012 panic, I absolutely agree....

Since then, even a cheap 2,000 rounds of 7.62 x 39 will set you back several hundred dollars.....
7.62 x 51 a few hundred rounds of that set you back $2-250
5.56/.223.....2000 rounds there....ugh....$600+
9mm have come down but still not cheap...
.45 ACP....
6.5 Grendel
6.8 Creedmoor....

I know you shoot a Lapua .338...those ain't cheap either....

Hell, even .22lr while it can be had, a 550/rd brick used to be under $10....

Gotta pick & choose how broke you want to go  lol

If I didn't reload, the .338 Lapua would be about $5/round for crap ammo. I shoot it for pre-COVID match grade .30-06 money.

My 9mm and 5.56... a good friend of mine had a relative pass away. He had a healthy reloading supply stockpile. It was gifted to him, he doesn't reload so he he gave it to me if I would make 10,000 rounds of 9mm for him. It took about a month of weekends... Done. I'm a blessed man. Way more than I deserve.
