For the sake of solar power, let's hope Canada can bring its rampaging arsonists to heel. That's because the shroud of smoke that covered much of the Eastern US seaboard, has sent solar power generation in parts of the eastern US plummeting by more than 50% as wildfires rage in Canada.

ABC News was showing our part of Michigan fully covered from the smoke. We were having a nice clear day with a 5ish mph wind and no smell.   Every person listening to the news at that time in our area had to have been calling ABC News idiots.

I'm home with a sick kid today, so he's inside watching TV. I'm out in the garage cleaning. Windows open, AC off, not wearing a mask, using my leaf blower to dust, mowed yesterday. Basically the only thing I'm not doing on this list is burning a candle, but may just do that for spite.
