Love the "it depends" answer.

As an AE for a machine tool dealer I hate that I have to, but, often I answer questions the exact same way.

"James, what CAM system is the best?" It depends. Depends where you are. It depends on your budget. It depends on what kind of equipment you need to program. It depends on if you want FULL CAD integration. Etc..., etc..., etc... ad infinitum.

"James, what machine tool builder is the best?" It depends. What are you after? Maximum unattended run time? Reliability? Service/Support? What is your budget?  Where are you located? What included features do you need/want? What is the level of expertise in your shop? What level of precision do you need to hold. What size are 80% of your parts? Etc..., etc..., etc... ad infinitum.

Bottom line, what are the two most important characteristics (when configuring your NAS) + Budget, or 2 most important characteristics + budget in a machine tool purchase then evaluate from there.
