Very cool story!

In My young stoopidity.. 1978-1979

I had a 70' Cuda, a 72' Nova and a 69' Olds 442. Also a 69' Triumph Tiger.

if wishes were Fishes I would have a Boatload. :)

Was the number 3 high seller at the auction, $1,072,500.

I was thinking it was called a Sunbeam Tiger though
A crazy friend of mine had one.

if I remember correctly that was about 1000 pounds of chassis and sheet metal
with 4 wheels attached and a highly modified Ford 289 V8 and 4 speed transmission shoehorned into the engine bay.
That car was death wish crazy fast and squirrely.
We used to blast it up and down twisty little 2 lane mountain roads in the Colorado Rockies.
Surprisingly enough, nobody got killed, though eventually he scared himself badly enough that he sold it.
