Just saw Episode 3.
What a shitshow of a trial...

Russ got 100% screwed by the Judge and the DA being friends.
I also hope his 4 friends who confirmed his alibi are pursuing lawsuits against the DA for defamation of character in her closing statement, without a shred of evidence to support her wild claim that they were all involved in a conspiracy.  You kinda would have to prove that through, ya know, stuff like evidence and witnesses, ya know, DURING the trial.  Heck, if you can just throw down a conspiracy theory in your closing argument without having mentioned it at all during the trial, or offering any evidence, this lawyering stuff is pretty easy.

I know Russ gets a new trial, but if /when this whole case gets appealed to a higher court, the whole thing should be thrown out due to wildly inappropriate conduct by both the Judge and the DA, both of whom should be disbarred if there is any justice at all.

Yes, Outer Range is definitely on my list.
I will probably start watching it this week.

I have one more episode of 'The Thing About Pam', and all I can say is...wow.

The show doesn't do a "great" job portraying Leah (prosecutor).

The impression I got was that of a shallow, ditzy, and somewhat lazy DA who seems to care more about her political career than actually seeking justice.
I know that's probably a stereotype, but if she is even half as bad as they portrayed her, that's still pretty bad.

I hope Russ was financially compensated for the 3 years he unnecessarily spent in prison, but no amount of money can ever repair the damage done to his reputation, or the broken relationships with his daughters.

I saw the first episode of Outer Range, but unfortunately I dozed off in the middle of it. 
I gave it a second watch when I wasn't as tired and thought it was pretty good, so I also watched episode 2.

My only complaint so far is that the camera work in some scenes is just too dark. 
But the story itself is pretty interesting so I will keep watching the rest of Season 1.
