Finished 9 seasons of Suits. Excellent series. Shocked that the guy who played Louis Litt didn't win a few Emmys. He cracked me up.

I've been watching Homeland on Paramount
I saw the first couple of seasons back in the old Netflix CD by mail days
but never saw all 8 seasons.
I think the later seasons are better than the first ones... and seasons 6 thru 8 (2018 thru 2020)
are remarkably in tune with events in the Middle East and Washington today.
If you haven't seen all 8 seasons check it out!

I just saw the series finale of 'Billions'.

As far as series finales go, it was pretty good.

No spoilers, but they did leave the door open just a crack if they did decide to continue the storyline or a develop a spinoff.

But even if that doesn't happen, it was wrapped up pretty well in my opinion.

My wife and I watched Billions, but started too soon.
Season 8 was just coming out when we got to the end of season 7
Not wanting to spend 8 weeks watching one episode a week, we decided to watch
Homeland.
When we're done with that, we'll watch the last season of Billions.
So far, of the 2 I think I like Homeland more than Billions.
The last 3 seasons of Homeland are very good

Anyone watching either of the two 'Walking Dead' spinoffs?

I have been tempted to start watching them but just not motivated enough.
Now that fall and winter are upon us here in the northeast, maybe I will check them out.

I watched several seasons of Fear the Walking Dead. It's okay...same cast of zombies, different coast. I have some other comments but I don't want to be a spoiler.

Yeah I watched that too for a while when it first came out but for some reason I just didn't like it as much as the original.

These two new spinoffs are supposed to be pretty good because they follow a few of the original TWD characters on further adventures of their own after the series finale.

I suppose all I can do is give them a try...

Watched a movie on Netflix called The harder they fall. All black cast mostly co written by Taylor Sheridan

Very interesting turn of events that you don't see coming. Violence throughout.

We finally watched "The Rings of Power" season one. I put it off because the reviews weren't real good but it really was alright. I think maybe the "Lord of the Rings" purists really didn't care for it so they got dinged it in the reviews.

The last season of Jack Ryan started slow but by the end of the season I'd say it was very good. Sorry they won't be continuing that.

I've been watching a variety of movies I hadn't seen in a long time. Downfall was really good, Judgment in Nuremburg was really good, Bridge of Spies was pretty good. I'm not a race car guy but "Rush" was a really good movie. Apollo 13. The first three Bourne movies.

A couple of days ago my wife and I had some friends over for dinner and a movie. They are about 15 years younger than we are but are very simpatico. It turns out that neither had ever seem Bull Durham so I found it on Prime. What a blast! Even though the film is from 1988 it has held up well.

I just watched a movie on Monday called "The Impossible".  It's a true story about a vacationing family that survived the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami in Thailand.

It's pretty intense and based on a true story.

I've started watching "The Terminal List" with the wife and "Goliath" on my own, both on Amazon prime.

They both look pretty good. Both quite intense in the early stages.

I followed 'Goliath' when it was first released all the way to the end of the series.
I really like Billy Bob Thornton as an actor, and this was a great role for him.

Having said that, the series takes some weird turns, but overall you should like it.
