Lawman Bass Reeves in Paramount Plus is very good. Created by Taylor Sheridan it's about the true story of the first black deputy US Marshal west of the Mississippi. He's mentioned in the series Justified when they are talking about their favorite marshals. An expert shot with both pistol and rifle, he arrested 3000  -4000 outlaws and killed 14 people. He was a former slave and his name was the last name of his owner.

My wife found Joe Pickett on Prime... we watched 3 episodes last night. If you're looking for a modern western in the same vein as Longmire... this would be a good show for you.

I own the Black Sails series.  I haven't seen it in a while. I'll have to re-watch it.

I'm in the middle of Vikings-Valhalla right now.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I saw the first episode of Tulsa King Season 2 this weekend.

It picks up right where Season 1 left off.

Just saw episode 1 last night.
Well, they certainly pull you in right off the bat with some gruesome brutality.

It was a little bit difficult to understand who was who at first, but as the episode progressed it became clearer.
Also, @ like 90 minutes, the first episode was more like a short movie.
I will definitely watch the rest.

How did I manage to miss 'Fargo' all these years?

I saw the first two episodes of Season 1 this week and realized what a great dark comedy it was!

I have read that it may be best to watch it in the order of the series timeline rather than the original order of the seasons as they were released, which would result in watching Seasons 4,2,1,3,5 in that order.
The reason stated is that although each season is a standalone story, there is some character overlap that makes more sense if you watch it in the timeline format.

I have also seen reviews that say Season 4 was the worst of the 5, and didn't really fit the overall series that well.

What say you all?
I would like a recommendation from anyone who has seen the whole series as to which order I should watch it.
