Meh, she is a good BJJ practitioner, but it's kind of like saying whether a lion or shark would win in a fight. Really depends on the rule set. Those guys were all boxers. Give them a couple months of grappling training and she wouldn't roll over them so easily. She just kept hitting the same guillotine on them all. None of them even had enough training to know to protect their neck.

I don't know...  It seemed that the guys were afraid of hurting her and didn't do what a guy that size in a brawl would do.  They didn't punch, or jump up and come down on her.  I wonder how hard she'd hold on if she got a broken rib or two.

It was an impressive video in the sense that it shows how an untrained person can be extremely exposed to a trained person.

Ultimately I think there is a big difference between an MMA champion level fighter and any other form of sport combat. MMA is kind of like the rock-paper-scissors of combat.

At gap favors kickboxing/Muay Tai
In the pocket favors boxing
In the clinch favors wrestling/Judo
On the ground favors BJJ

You need to be proficient in all, on both offense/defense to be an MMA champion.

It just goes to show that with proper training a smaller person can prevail over someone who is much bigger and stronger than they are.

This may have turned out differently if it took place in a dark alley somewhere and she were attacked by an assailant who was really trying to harm her, but with her obvious skills I think even then she would at least have a fighting chance.

My son's best friend in middle school was a wrestler. Kid had been wrestling in a local club since he could walk and won about every tournament he'd enter.

First match of 7th grade the other school had a girl in his weight class that people were already talking about having Olympic potential. She had been beating boys left and right.

When the match started he took her down and could have easily pinned her in the first 10 seconds, but he let her up. He did this again and again for the duration of the match. The other teams fans were yelling and booing. The girl was crying.

One of the moms on our side started talking about how mean he was being to that poor girl. The kid's mom was nearby and just said, sorry, he has three older sister's who have been beating him up for years. He's just taking it out on her.

A trained person will beat an untrained person more often than not regardless of size/strength. 1 punch knockouts are RARE.

That being said a trained small female gets at least a fighting chance against a larger and stronger assailant. Doesn't mean it's gonna be pretty and she isn't gonna bleed and get injured because most assuredly she will but that is much better than the alternative.
