I'm not too sure why this was even made.  We hang around lots of shooters (even more with my new job), and my wife shoots competitively.
We rarely hear anything of the sort of the talk he is ranting about. Everybody we know is quite aware of the demands. We have networks of people on the watch for ammo so they can compete. I just don't hear that the manufacturers are hiding ammo.
Maybe, Federal is just getting their asses handed to them in their ramp up vs their competition.

Meh, Federal sucks  

I wish Hornady could ramp up the production of 6.5mm ELD-X and ELD-M  Luckily I made it through hunting season with with a few rounds left over.

My friend and I just finished loading 40 rounds of .50 BMG  690gr projectile with 249g of propellant.  At least you can still find Some oddball reloading supplies

We're still feeling the wrath of the breakdown in the supply chain during March, April and May 2020. Add to that 35,000,000 brand new firearms owners, and they all want some ammo. If everyone bought just 250 rounds (not unimaginable) that 8,750,000,000 rounds. No matter which way you slice it, that's a lotta damn rounds. Add the normal demand, plus civil unrest, etc... Makes total sense why there's an ammo shortage. At least IMHO.

I'm running short on primers. I think I'm down to about 5,000 small pistol magnum primers (what I normally run in my 9mm). If I can't resupply, I'll burn through it by probably mid March.
