Quote from: Dan_AKA_ROY23 on November 27, 2023, 06:25 AMA little unfair comparing Ryan Day with Urban Meyer (who consistently beat Michigan). The UM teams Day was up against were/are far superior than when Meyer coached.

When did I bring up Meyer? You did, just to try and relive the past.
But if you want to relive the past it would be a little unfair to mention Meyer without mentioning John Cooper (who consistently LOST to Michigan) 2-10-1 vs Michigan.

I wasn't quoting you, that was my own observation.

MSU may actually have a good team in a few years. Then he will leave them for better grounds.

Quote from: Jeff on November 27, 2023, 06:44 AMYou're wrong. He had control just before he broke the plane. Knee went down, ending the play.
It wouldn't have been an interception.

Every Michigan score went under the microscope, they took PLENTY of time to review it. If it wasn't a td they would have reversed the call.

That is what I saw  , Catch  ,Turn , Knee down Then rip.

This is College not the NFL . Break the plane , one foot in not two. etc.

Me too.

Replays are great for objective things like whether a player was in bounds, but they can really get too far down into the weeds when it is a subjective question like 'Did he have possession?'

At game speed it looked like the right call, and they obviously didn't see enough to overturn it.

Fans are always going to jump on both sides of a controversial play and see what they want to see.

I didn't have a dog in this particular fight, so from a neutral position it looked to me like a Michigan TD because he didn't lose possession until after he crossed the goal line.

That's a helluva stat right there.

I'm pretty excited for tonight's game. Oregon v Washington.
O/U of 65.5  I'd take the over and bet the farm.

Most likely the winner of this game will win the Heisman. Either Bo Nix, or Michael Penix Jr.

I was really impressed with Iowa's defense, they are tough! Too bad their offense couldn't score in a whorehouse.

Doubt we make it in, nobody wants Bama.
These guys have become one of my favorite Bama teams.  They improve every game.

I guess I can congratulate Michigan too

Bama should get in. But UM, Wash, and FSU are undefeated and Texas won at Alabama.

I still think Bama should leapfrog FSU. We all know they're the better team.

Do you think Bama is worse than Texas? I only saw Bama against Georgia and never saw Texas play.
