@Dylan, I changed the Machine to use the 5AxHeadHead and nownI can verify.

I was talking with James and had talked with the Sim team. We're looking for the earlier versions of files that exhibit this problem when brought into '24. IE, the working file from 2022/2019/etc. The current thought is that some action is triggering the Simulation choice in the MD to change away from using the External Machine and we're trying to pin down what that action is and when it occurs.
