Doctor's orders

I saw my cardiologist today; I had seen his nurse practitioner right after the hospital. She's the one that told me I had diastolic heart failure. So, being me, I started studying everything I could find on the subject and most of it was pretty fricken depressing.

So, I saw him today to get the results of some more tests. He's telling me about things I should avoid and all the doctor stuff they do. When he finished he asked if I had any questions. I asked him what the hospital stay and all this means for my future.

He said "Nothing. Enjoy life."

So, if it's 5 days or 30 years that's what I'm going to try to do. Doctor's orders.
