The death toll is up to 600 now and Israel has formally declared war.

I also understand that Israel has to give a little as well and that is nearly impossible to do when you are starting at the point of negotiating for your very life.

I have said this for years, if the Palestinians would lay down their arms and negotiate, there would be peace. If Israel laid down their arms and negotiate, there would be 5 million Jews floating in the Med tomorrow.

 Isreal did give. Didn't they give autonomous control of the west bank to palistinian authority? In return, a terror organization, Hamas,  was elected to run the joint, and here was are. I may have got some of the detail wrong.
 If Isreal laid down their arms there would certainly be peace. It would cease to exist being surrounded by enemies hellbent on it's destruction.

The death count is over a thousand now and Israel is bombing Gaza into the stone age.
Biden Obama is probably lining up more billions to help them fund the next attack and build it all back.

In the irony department
There was a rave/music festival/ peace protest going on in southern Israel near the border with Gaza.
Terrorists rolled over it gunning people down and taking hostages.
Many of the participants flew in from Europe and the US.
The confirmed death count is 240. The number of missing/hostages is unknow.
The ironic part of this is the lions share of the people at this gathering were pro Palestinian.

May God be with Israel in these trying times. Horrific killings of innocent people. Women and children. The terrified family shown on video with the little boy wondering 'is she coming back?'. 'No' the boy's older sister and mother said (for the oldest daughter was murdered in cold blood).

Such a complex history going back to the very beginning between these closely related peoples.

So the theory goes (a very strong one) that Iran is behind this as they want to derail the peace negotiations Israel and Saudi Arabia have been working on (known as the Abraham Accords).

There's an Israeli video I saw recently (Messianic Jews - who believe Yeshua [Jesus] is their true messiah) where they showed a bunch of Jews and Arabs together (10, maybe 15 in the front of the video). The backdrop was an Arab man who confessed his faith in Christ. Anyway,... they didn't identify who were Arabs or Israelis. They asked 'us' to take a guess. The point was, it was impossible to tell. That's an irony of all this. They are so closely related (both came from Abraham) and yet they so vehemently hate one another going way back in time. In fact, the quarrel began before Ishmael (the father of the Arab people and Abraham's firstborn son through Hagar the Egyptian slave girl) was even born. Sarah grew jealous of her and the quarrels began (and would never end...sadly, even to this day).

Israeli citizens are allowed to own some pretty potent firearms, but they have to store them in neighborhood
vaults. The photos showed hundreds of assault rifles in racks and even in piles on tables.
The post was by the operator of the neighborhood vault who rushed to open it so his neighbors could get their guns.
Sadly, with what happened Saturday, you have about 2 minutes to be out of bed and ready for war to have any chance
of saving your life and your families lives.
If you have to run down to the neighborhood vault to arm yourself you are already dead.

Late Friday night I saw a random post that said,
"Help us, they are dragging us out of our homes and killing us. Please send help."
I thought it was the usual Twitter bullshit and went to bed.
I was wrong. Those were the last words of a young woman watching her family getting slaughtered.

When I lived in Eastvale, my neighbor was a jew (ethnic and religious). I've always been curious about US jews. They are truly an enigma. The majority lean Democrat for reasons only YHWH knows. Anyway, we were pretty good friends and I asked him one day about why that was. He started laughing and told me "I honestly don't know what is wrong with my people!"

Democrats are decidedly anti-Semite/Pro-Arab. Oh sure... call them "Palestinians" if you want, but, they are ethnic ARABS and probably some Persians thrown in because Iran hates Israel and wants them "wiped of the face of the earth".

Don't forget God speaking to Hagar about Ishmael  - Gen 21:18... "Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation." He indeed showed her favor.

Just watched an interview of a lady that escaped. They had a safe room and the terrorist couldn't get in; instead using the living room to snipe any passers by. Residents knew it was happening, holed up in the safe room but were unarmed and powerless.
