Can't say for ICAM but the Vericut tech support and sales support I have experienced is second to none.

My school had nothing for verification of gcode, we just had Mastercam and that's it, I remember the machines weren't state of the art either, we had to transfer the gcode over on floppy disk.

I was just reading through this thread, and it made me think of how much the CAM landscape has changed over the past 25 years.

Who would have thought that a cutting tool company would have ended up buying a few CAM application companies, a few CAM Simulation and Post Processor companies, and position it on the opposing side of the river to Autodesk, who in turn pulled the shopping cart out and loaded it up with opposing CAM software companies.

It has been a bit of a ride the past few years

Yup.. they have achieved near parity with the West in manufacturing technology and surpassed the west in some fields
like affordable combat drones. They make some very nice affordable handguns these days too.
Sadly, after becoming a secular country, Turkey is now falling back into Islamic fundamentalism.
They are going to be increasingly dangerous over the coming years.
The US has an airbase in Turkey, stocked with nukes and to me that has become a really bad idea.
The Turkish military is more than capable of rolling right over that base.
We should be thinking about throwing Turkey out of NATO. They have proven they are not our friend time and time again.
