Anyone on here use any fitness trackers?

I've been using Fitbits for the last probably 5 years or so.  Since Google bought them out, they've screwed up the interface on the app and removed a lot of the features.

I recently got a Garmin Instinct Crossover and am on the fence on it because I'm not used to it. It's nice, but not as simple.

Anyone have experiences with different fitness trackers?

My wife gives me enough crap for my sloth; don't need to pay extra.

Mine told me I was fat today.  Yea, my girlfriend is more discreet than that fitness tracker.

I have a Garmin Fenix 6X Sapphire.  It's really nice, but it has way more features than I need...

I have a Samsung Watch 4. It works well for a fitness tracker. I use it to track my workouts. It does a good job in conjunction with my phone. It is supposed to be able to measure body fat and other metrics, but I don't think it is very accurate. When I run it tracks all kinds of stuff. It tracks steps, cadence, stride, etc. I also like that I get text and call notifications. In the shop I don't always hear/feel my phone. I always feel my watch vibe.

I haven't worn a watch since I was in my teens. I had a Casio.

My wife has been bugging me to get a watch. I said I want my dream watch... Rolex Submariner.... she said dream on  "That's not what I mean and you know it." she said. I said, "I know, but hey it was worth a shot. " She wants me to to get a smart watch.

Anyone have a Samsung Watch5 Pro?

I use the myWorkouts app with with a Polar H10 or Garmin HRM-Dual heart rate monitor chest strap. MyWorkouts is free and it basically just records your workouts while displaying your heart rate. It estimates how many calories you burn in a workout by using your heart rate and times in each zone.

On my previous smart phone it would record and show the map of my bicycle rides but that quit working when I upgraded my phone. I'd replace the app if I could find another free app that would track bike rides but I'm not willing to pay a subscription to get it.

So depending on what you want myWorkouts might be a good choice.

Rolex is far cheaper than this consumer electronics stuff.

.get back to me on that in 5 years.
A $700 apple watch pro will worth zero and the Sub will be worth 75-120% of that 9k.

I haven't worn a watch since highschool and saw a video of a guy sucked into a lathe. I haven't worn my wedding ring since my honeymoon. You guys can keep your jewelry.

I've worn my ring EVERY SINGLE DAY for 29+ years. The ONLY time I've taken it off was for welding (except that 1st time  and that hurt ) and manual turning.
