After reading this I talked to the g/f about it. She works for the Seattle school district and has to take these all the time.  She literally said "just click on what you think they want to hear". 

And Yea She is Right.

I have this and God knows how much other training to do, several each month. It's all online so I don't have to leave my desk. They give me a charge line for it so I take it. The ones I don't like are the Dod ones I have to take. Stuff like document marking (secret, top secret, etc). They make it so complicated. I could lose my clearance if I don't do well enough even though it has almost nothing to do with my actual job.

My son got fired from a job because he laughed at a remark that was deemed sexual harrasment.

My niece Melissa worked as a waitress at a 'Perkins' restaurant when she was in college.

One day a male customer felt he had the right to grab her ass as he was leaving.
She turned around and plowed him with a legit overhand right to his face that ended up breaking his nose. 

She got fired, and she was OK with that.
Especially when Perkins' HR asked her to apologize to the customer, which she vehemently refused to do. 

The guy supposedly threatened to sue Perkins over the incident, but she was never charged with anything or called to testify in court, so apparently the broke-nosed loser decided he had suffered enough humiliation and didn't pursue it any further.

Yeah I think they had a conversation with the manager at the time of the incident about whether or not the police should be called. The customer at first denied he ever touched her, and he wanted the manager to call the police.

However, the manager quickly pointed out to him that the whole incident was captured on security video, and that if he did in fact initiate the physical contact it was quite possible for him to be arrested for sexual assault as well.  This happened about 15 years ago, so I don't remember if she said the cops came or not, but in the end they basically called it a wash because neither one pressed charges.

My bro-in-law was a bouncer in a pretty rough joint in his younger days, so he taught his two daughters how to defend themselves against creeps like this guy, and apparently Melissa remembered those lessons when she needed them.

My Son got fired a couple years ago for attempting to say something complementary to a tranny in the workplace.
 Breaking with societal historical norms since 2012 is causing some real problems. I'm way less tolerant of this shit.
 BTW, 'tolerance' is a hate word. You can't be friends with someone that tolerates you.

Well, yeah, not cool. But... it reminded me of something pretty funny from back in the eighties.

One of the apprentices got hassled (in a funny way) at work, so decided to get the hassler (another apprentice) back. Figured he would smear a bit of bearing blue (what I guess you call high spot blue) on the foam on his motorcycle goggles. Thought it would be funny as he would get home and then just have to clean it off.

What he didn't count on, was that the guy with the goggles stopped in at the bank on the way home, and couldn't work out why the teller started laughing when he walked up to the counter....

Got to admit, it would have been funny
