Oct. 16 and 19.
Nearly 35.9 million affected by Xfinity data breach: filings

Xfinity discovered the "suspicious activity" on Oct. 25, and in the following months determined that information was "likely acquired." On Dec. 6, the company concluded that information included usernames and hashed passwords — and, for some customers, the last four digits of Social Security numbers, account security questions, birthdates, and contact information.

I dumped them in  2020....of course they retain all of your info so even I got the email....

Tmobile, Comcast, Harvard Pilgrim and others, I am quite certain just about everyone's info is out there.

I am still incensed that companies who collect & retain this kind of information are not held accountable for these breaches.

I dumped comcast cable two years ago but they're my only choice for internet.  I would dump them completely if I had other options.

Maybe I should have said "any good options"

Starlink is twice the price per month, the hardware is ridiculously priced, and the connection, from what I heard, is horrible.

looked it up anyway and it's not available to me regardless.

I was in the same boat....I dropped TV & Phone in 2020, kept internet....T-mobile wireless became available in 2021 in my area....I signed up, had both for a month to make sure it would work and once I knew that would be good, I dumped them completely in Dec 2021....$50/mo unlimited internet....my downloads speeds avg about 400mbps....upload is usually about 10% of D/L speed....

That said, still got bitten by the Comcast breech

I assume that's a wise crack about Seattle?  It's available all over Seattle. Not sure why it's not available to me.  Although you'd have to be an idiot to pay for Starlink in Seattle. There are several better choices available.

It appears that the only time it would make sense to use Starlink is if no other options are available.

Not to mention when the California Dept. of Justice DELIBERATELY leaked every single person since 2011 that merely applied for a CCW Permit... their personal info (DL, SS #, what guns you applied the permit for, etc...). Those fucking leftist shitbag Democrats had the nerve to call it a "breach" and the media ran with that. It's only a breach when gate isn't intentionally left open.

So glad I am out of that shithole.

Too bad we're go na be stuck with Shitbird Newscum for POTUS. He's gonna bring San Franfecesco, Oakland, and Los Angeles to your states. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I started with LA Cellular in like '95. It got bought, by someone, then bought again, when bought again by Verizon Wireless. They have the best coverage hands down everywhere I go. Even inside a lot of buildings. They've been good for me. A lot of my Coworkers have AT&T TMobile, and even though their phone shows "more. bars" they drop calls or lack coverage. I pay more, but I don't care. I need coverage.
