Quote from: neurosis on January 25, 2024, 04:50 AMWhy would a liberal be afraid to admit that Republicans tried to bribe a Republican candidate to not run in a Republican election? .

I would think they would love to point out the corruption.
You may (or may not) have missed the point about "people from back east". There's a better than 75% chance that means leftists.

My current working theory is the Republican Ex Chair is dirty AF. Some high ranking democrats in Arizona have some serious (or maybe not even serious) dirt on him that went up the left's chain of command and he's essentially on the hook for them now.

Obviously I have no proof, but it fits, and it's not even close to being outside the scope of what politicians do to each other.

Now, the reason the media will deny and obfuscate, and refuse to report is because they are complicit. They only do their jobs when Conservatives/Republicans do bad orrrrrrrrrr if what a leftist did was so bad they can no longer hide it.

From what I've seen this morning, every single main stream media source has reported on it including NPR and the NY Times.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

The utter dangerous rhetoric coming out of the Trump camp is almost certain to push them to either stay home of hold their collective noses and vote for Biden...
...
Please cite some examples of "dangerous rhetoric". Or, rhetoric more dangerous that what the left is running with.

In a somewhat unrelated (perhaps) note... something I did not see coming, Texas could very well be where the 1st shots of the 2nd US Civil War are fired. The Feds vs. Texas National Guard.

Lots of distractions and PsyOps going on.

They report what their CEO's of cnn, msnbc, abc, etc are paid to tell them to report IMO.

There's "reporting" on it then there's digging in to get the full picture. The left's role in this bribery will never come to light, this guy is gonna get suicided unless he gets into Witness Protection... even then, he may not make it out alive.

The media will NEVER cop to what they did to Kari; essentially assasinated her character during the election.

We have to qualify it now?  LIke one sides is better or worse than the other...and let me see, Trump, Candidate for US President...Madcow, a talking head with less viewers daily than can fill an MLB stadium...or at least was so the last time I actually cared enough to check.

That's where we are now...

Yee Haw! Lets get it started! There are a whole lot of good ole boys with a lot of guns in Texas. Biden may get to test his F15 authoritarian takeover wishes.

Ok... what is your opinion of dangerous rhetoric then?

The only reason I qualified it is because you're not calling out Democrat dangerous rhetoric, which kind of implies you don't see what they are doing as dangerous, only what Trump is doing.

What I see is you are an establishment conservative... the equivalent of a Blue Dog Democrat but on the Conservative side, and I don't say that as an insult, I say it as that line of thinking is no longer relevant in the modern political climate.

The reality is Nazi Pelosi AS THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE... in that official capacity, called us out and called us(Conservatives) "Enemies of the State". Not too many people today can appreciate the levity of that statement, but I believe you to be a reasonable individual and can. NOTHING Trump has said (that I have heard) eeeeeeeeeeeven comes close to that.

But I am interested in hearing what you believe to be "dangerous rhetoric".

And one has to wonder, will the majority of military personnel follow marching orders and fight their fellow citizens or will they throw two middle fingers to this corrupt BS?

It "legally" can't be the US Military vs. Texas National Guard. Alphabet Soup has to sack up and get after it. FBI, DHS, ATF, US Marshalls, etc...

It'll be hardcore insurgent warfare. Like Ramadi Iraq in 2006-2007... alphabet soup is Al Queda and the Texas NG is the Coalition forces and alphabet soup ain't got the weaponry or numbers.
