Has anyone else scene this movie on Netflix?

What did you think of it?

Meh. 55% on my Tomatometer.

I thought it was disturbing; mostly because the premise doesn't sound that farfetched. Plus, I got a new soundbar and woofer for my tv, so, the sound effects were fun as well.

I just saw this not long ago.  It was very slow but yes, very disturbing.

The way it ended was pretty messed up.

I signed up for Netflix in 2005 back when you got discs by mail
I cancelled my account a few years ago when they went uber-woke.
I'm sure I'm missing a few good shows but I refuse to help fund the insane
woke BS they are indoctrinating our kids with.

What I remember about the movie was how afraid the black characters were of whites. The movie just felt stupid to me. After watching I found out that the Obama's were involved somehow with it. They were definitely pushing a racist narrative.

It seemed to me the white people, especially Julia Roberts, were afraid of the black people. And none of the characters were likeable, except maybe GH and, maybe, Kevin Bacon's character. I don't really care about the social commentary; yeah, yeah, consumerism above all else, blah, blah. I liked all the weird Hitchcock-like camera angles and sci-fi sound effects. I found the premise of the collapse particularly disturbing because I don't think it will be long, if not already, before the technology to do something like that exists.

I was interested enough to look up a trailer... I'm kinda lost.

So there's two families stuck in a house together, then some crazy cyber attack happens. Then there's a bunch of vacant teslas, and some guns, and mega negative trust between the two families. :-\

Are the families fighting each other? or the cyber attack? how would you even fight a cyber attack?

There was some initial distrust. After the cyber attack they realized they were going to have to figure out how to spend a lot of time together.
