Any idea what the sentences were?  I guess it's difficult to use those as examples not knowing all of the details. First offense etc.

I'm curious to see if Hunter gets the special treatment we all think he will get.

First Offense is irrelevant in Federal Sentences. It's 10 years per count usually and I believe $250k fine. Feds don't fuck around. They will lie like rugs, but the minute you do... WHAM!

If anything, they may run the sentences concurrently. I would not be surprised if they drop at least some of the fine though.

Deeper level strategy, Hunter being convicted will be a talking point for Biden related to Trump banana Republic trials. Biden will say he has to respect the law and Hunter's conviction to try legitimize his DOJ directed political prosecution of Trump. Current polling on Trump legal battles shows strong belief it is purely political. They need something to sway that and Hunter conviction will be used for that purpose.
