Quote from: Smit on June 12, 2024, 08:23 AMI would suggest it's more of a rational irrational thing rather than a Democrat Republican thing.

That means that you think one party is more rational than the other. The truth is there is no rational in politics today, at least by most people's definition. The goal in politics today is to fuck over the other party, demonize those who disagree and accumulate power by any means necessary.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but we're fucked no matter which candidate wins, just in different ways.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

The question on the form 4470 is unconstitutional on it's face. Not sure how it would go if you just failed/ refused to answer it.

well, refusing the transfer, a constitutional right, based on being  forced to incriminate yourself, another constitutional problem... a real lawyer could articulate this better, as I only play one on the web.

If you don't answer, you don't get the firearm.

These days, the OVERWHELMING majority of gun shop employees won't sell guns to sketchy dudes. Not only do they not want the ATF coming after them, but, they don't even want the legal ramifications if they sell to a sketchy dude and he does some stupid shit. Used to be if you had dough, you were good to go. Not so today.

Quote from: YoDoug on June 12, 2024, 01:15 PMProve it! To date no one can show a legitimate audit of votes versus registrations that adds up. You can call people stupid all you want but you have no proof to back up a valid election.

I'm not calling anyone on this board stupid. Unless, of course, we have J6 rioters here.

That being said, you, like most stolen election proponents, don't seem to understand how burden of proof works. If election fraud was so prevalent, and really altered the results in 2020, it should be slam dunk easy to prove. So prove it. Links to speculative, misleading and incomplete "news" articles from journalistic powerhouses such as Brietbart or Gateway Pundit don't count. Movies such as 2000 Mules don't prove your point, either.

You know what does count? The dozens of court cases that have either been thrown out or ruled unfavorably against the election deniers. Once again, prove your case. In a court of law.

You know, like was done with Hunter Biden.

Corrupt DOJ covers just about everything.

What you and the rest of the fraud deniers always claim and point to are the cases not heard or the cases that were thrown out.

Fair enough. :coffee:

What you also fail to point to are the reasons the majority of the cases and their disposition; standing.

I'm not about to explain to you how standing works, but suffice it to say if you understood it, you would not be  proclaiming victory. You would be hanging your head in shame.
