Wanted: Business Partner(s) to Scale Shop

From the very start of the shop, the goal has always been scalable systems. Over the years I have had to make an active effort to not scale and grow the business until these systems have been put into place. However, It seems like I am at a point now where the business cannot grow and scale without more humans to help out. As a 1 man operation there isn't enough time in the day to develop systems, do sales, make parts, QA parts, etc. I need help. I am not looking to hire and manage employees. I am not good at managing people and don't want to.


Instead, I would like to find 1-2 Key Unique Individuals to join forces with to make it all happen.


Person #1:

You will have a strong sales/business management background. This persons primary responsibility is to bring in good profitable work that fits the shop. You are an outgoing person and people like you. You have lots of contacts and can easily drum up sales and new customers. You know what parts are worth from extensive industry experience.


Person #2:

You will have a strong operations background and a "Getting Shit Done" mentality. Your primary responsibility is to to keep things moving forward every day. You have lots of experience being "The Guy" who makes it happen on the shop floor.


My role in all of this is to make both of their jobs as easy as possible. I make the sales guys job easy because we have great systems and equipment to make good parts that they will reorder often. I make the operations guys job as easy as possible through extremely dialed process/systems/equipment.


The goal is to keep the golden goose pooping out golden eggs on the daily while being relaxed and having fun while doing it. No Egos. No BS. No Drama.


Highly Integrated systems making errors almost impossible.

High-end equipment making difficult parts easy.

Clean and Comfortable facility that you like to work in.

A good wage for employees %50-%100 over market rate so we only have the "Best" People.


Currently located in Bellingham, Wa but I am open to moving the shop somewhere more business friendly.
