Job Description
Responsible for programming vertical, horizontal, 5 axis, mill-turning, and wire EDM CNC Machines.  Design tooling, fixtures, develop the processes needed for quick & accurate set up. Create manufacturing drawings. Maintain the continuing production of prototype and production quantity machined parts.  Create and modify Renishaw probing macros utilizing Fanuc Macro B language.

Roles & Responsibilities
o   Create and modify programs and processes for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
o   Verify and simulate the programs created and optimize for efficient part cycle times.
o   Design fixtures and custom tooling as necessary.
o   Create manufacturing drawings based on the manufacturing process,
o   Provide documents machine setup, SOP documents, including in-process inspection reports.
o   Purchase tools, fixtures and materials as required.
o   Work with Engineering & Assembly to create and modify parts and assemblies to streamline manufacturing & assembly.
o   May be asked to program and set up other machines including the Rofin Laser.
o   May be asked to process and program EOS 3D printer.
o   Review all assigned parts for manufacturability.
o   Perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so to support business needs.


Qualifications

Required:
o   2+ years direct CNC programming experience.
o   3+ years of set-up and machining.
o   1+ years of Mastercam experience.
o   Detailed knowledge of machine g-code.
o   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o   Basic computer usage, to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
o   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o   Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
o   Critical attention to detail and thoroughness.
o   Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
o   Regular on-site attendance is a necessary function of this position.
o   Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access U.S. government-controlled technology prior to beginning work.


Preferred:
o   5+ years of CNC programming experience
o   3+ years of Mastercam experience
o   Multi-axis & Mill-Turn programming a plus
o   Vericut Simulation experience
o   Solidworks, design and drawing creation experience.
o   Mazak experience
o   Understanding of Fanuc Macro B & Renishaw probing.

General Physical Requirements:

o   Must be able to work in noisy environments.
o   Must be able to lift, up to 35lbs at times.
o   Must wear eye & ear protection as necessary.
o   Must be able to sit & stand for extended periods.
o   Must be able to sit and work with a computer screen for extended lengths of time.

It's tough to say for certain... the individuals skill set would vary the compensation....

Bottom would be in the $80k range...a Rockstar would get a higher offer

A bottom offer would have the expectations that at least some of this position could be handled coming in the door... this is not a training position.

Finally filled this role....

If anyone sees this and might be interested, it might not be a bad idea to reach out...

This role is filled but I know darn well that I will need to add another body in the coming months, so while I don't have an active req to fill, I do anticipate asking again in the not too distant future.
