So, in that vein; I got my 15 year service pin today and I get a gift. Most of them are under $100 and, honestly, don't really pique my interest. There are some cooking related items, though. 2 Le Creuset baking dishes, 5 x 5 and 8 x 8. They seem too small to me. Some Cuisinart things; 4 cup chopper, like a small food processor; 4 slice toaster, 1.5 liter electric kettle and a 12 quart multi-cooker. Think big pot to cook pasta in. A Braun stick blender set and a 45 pc. set of flatware by J.A. Henckels.

I'm leaning towards the flatware. Ever since my wife moved out, I've been slowly losing all my forks, spoons and knives. I live with paper plates and plasticware.

Bwahahahahaha . I'm Laughing.

I Live on walmart Plastic Ware.

Forks , Knives and Spoons.

Paper Plates , Both sizes.

I throw out a Trash Bag twice a week .

But I Don't have to wash a Fuckin' Plate!!

I use the big contractor trash bags. Cuts down on taking out the trash and don't leak.

I think you should get the big pot. Make big batches of chili, freeze them in serving size, easy meals for a long time.

No, I had been gone from Boeing since 1998. At the beginning of 2009 I was out of work and answered a strange ad for "nc programming, systems analysis". Turns out, the R&D group were looking to hire someone to program their brand new AFP machine using brand new software. They liked my variety of experience and here I am.

Yes, local as in traffic, fires, road outages.  Not politics or anything I would discuss (argue) with you about.
