Nope, never lived in the UK. My comment was mostly pointing out that no matter what news source was referenced, there would be at least one person screaming about how biased and terrible it is. (I do the same thing ) The more the source is perceived as "left," the more it will get slammed, especially here.

I understand finding humor in some of the, seemingly, outlandish conspiracy theories. However, in this instance, I think silence is better than criticism. Trump supporters, and most of the country are, understandably, upset and trying to make sense of what happened.

My personal opinion kind of follows Occom's razor. I think the simplest and most likely explanation is that, after hundreds or thousands of events Trump's security detail has been involved in, they got complacent or even a little lazy. Also, keep in mind that the last attempted assassination was not from a political zealot, but a man with serious mental issues who thought that his actions would impress a famous actress.

Just wondering, how do you guys justify worshiping a guy who has no issues with pretty much destroying the lives of election workers who were just doing their jobs? These people had to move because of death threats and harassment? Is that OK? Understandable? Is this a guy you really want to worship?
