Hi,

I have been putting together some Machsims to learn how to do it.

I have done the following:

Haas TM1
Haas Mini-mill 2
Haas VF2TR (Trunnion)
Haas UMC_500
Doosan DNM-4500

Anyone else building Machsims?

I have built a lot of them over the years. Modeuleworks keep locking the end user out of more and more to the point I am not doing it much anymore. I would rather put time into a Real CAV machine build I can simulate real NC Code with not the hack together NCI process we currently have. Postability and In-House to an excellent job with their Machinesim Products, but only so much they can do when the Mother ship doesn't care to do more than it is needed to just get by and say your world class.

definitely...If you have need for simulation for crash prevention spend the money for g-code verification software...I have Vericut...I did the sim thing before vericut andI feel like it gave me a false sense of security.
