His guest appearances on Big Bang Theory were hilarious.

I'm sad to learn of his passing. Bob Newhart was a favorite comedian.

One of my favorites...

I occasionally pull out the 'STOP IT!' when my wife gets a case of the crazy. She never finds it as funny as I do.

RIP Bob. Loved all his shows.

When my brother was in the Air Force the Bob Newhart Show (original) was on in the afternoons after they would finish their workday. They would play a drinking game called "Bob, Hi Bob". Everytime someone said Bob you took a drink. If they said Hi Bob it was a guzzle or a shot. By the time you got through one episode or back to back episodes you were hammered. Watch a show sometime and see how many times they say Bob or Hi Bob.
