CrowdStrike has confirmed the widespread issues, stating: "We have widespread reports of BSODs on Windows hosts, occurring on multiple sensor versions,".

IT administrators have been provided with emergency steps to mitigate the issue, which were shared on Reddit. Companies are being advised to implement these measures without delay.

Emergency Steps for IT Admins
Initiate Safe Mode or access the Windows Recovery Environment on the affected Windows device.
Proceed to the C:WindowsSystem32driversCrowdStrike folder.
Search for and eliminate the file named "C-00000291*.sys".
Restart the system in normal mode.
