True, the polls can say anything you want if you look hard enough.

Political views aside, Rasmussen has proven historically to be one of the most accurate polls when comparing their pre-election data and predictions to actual outcomes.

Last time I checked Rasmussen, Trump was hovering around 28% of the potential black vote, which would be around 2x what he got in 2020.

I have always maintained that the only poll that counts is the actual election, but if these numbers are even close to being accurate they are very telling.

Trump never gets a fair shake. When he was elected in 2016 the very first thing he did was invite black leaders and personalities to the White House to talk about how to improve black citizens lives. They all talked about how he listened to them and they were impressed by his concerns. They got hammered by the media and other black leaders for being uncle toms.

The irksome thing is during Trump's 1st assault on Democracy Term, the unemployment differential between the Black Population and White Population shrank. The number of black owned businesses increased. I personally think it's because he cared and didn't take for granted one single black vote. He KNEW what that vote for him meant. The ONLY reason the numbers are good for the incontinent octogenarian is because it was one of the few Trump era things he left alone.

People can villiify Trump all they want. He's no saint that's for sure. He's rude. He's crass. He talks too much. He listens too little. They can say all he cares about is himself, but the reality is he is the ONLY POTUS to be worth LESS money when he left office than when he entered since Harry Truman... he's worth less by about 25%... and he's going to try again. So if that is one's idea of "he's just a selfish bastard", then I'd say the world needs more selfish bastards.
