do you guys still see people driving their car ... alone ... wearing masks?
I do all the time, I'm thinking it may be due to the heavy smoke in the air
here from all the fires.. I can't imagine people still being scared enough of covid
that they mask up alone in their car

Saw a lady (early 30s) standing outside of a gas station the other day wearing an n95 and those sealed safety goggles they use around chemicals. She looked paranoid as hell.

Yes. All the time here in Salem Orygun, and I invented a new game. Wanna play? It's like slug bug only I call it slap mask. When you see someone driving alone with a mask on you slap the person next to you and yell SLAP MASK! then point at the person driving with a mask ... alone.

No forest fires here in PA, but still lots of masks.

Walking around Walmart the other day I must have seen a dozen people wearing masks, some of them customers and some employees.
And yes, I saw a few of the customers get in their cars and drive away, by themselves, still wearing the mask.

It's like Newb said, the fear of Covid was driven into some people so deeply that now all .gov has to do is mention bird flu, or monkey pox, or some other ailment, and they go running for their masks like frightened children in a thunderstorm.

It's sad really...

The gaslighting is incredible about Walz. They're puppeting the same thing about him (I know, shocker).

Yes, unfortunately. You have to understand MN to know why he is popular. The term MN nice can easily be substituted with MN ignorant. Imagine two women in the grocery store blocking the isle while they chit chat, completely oblivious to the line of other shoppers they are blocking. This is MN. Most of the adult Dems I know all have rather conservative values probably align more with moderate R party of MN, they just have been Dems their whole life and they still think the dem party as some sort of version of the party of JFK. The other factor is that in MN, the largest employers are the state and federal gov. There is a lot of people that benefits from the big blue gov.
