The last I read on Starlink, it sounded expensive and predicted to not be very reliable.   Has anything changed?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I got an email the other day saying it's available in my area. Haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Lots of people are commenting on Ars Technica and other sites that they're in the beta and it's working well for them.  Decent speed, low latency, rare brief dropouts (minutes) which are expected to diminish or disappear when they get more satellites up.  A coworker's father in law has it at his cabin and likes it.  I haven't heard or read a negative review yet.

Price is $500 for the hardware plus $100/mo., so more expensive than some cable, less than others.  Comcast kept jacking our bill by $20/mo every month, to well over $200/mo. (for basic internet only) while promising every month to fix it on the next bill.  We told them to autocopulate and will never give them another cent, so we're on Hughesnet right now, which is comparable to flakey dialup.

As I understand it they don't have caps, but they distribute bandwidth evenly among all requesters in each cell.  So if you're in a city with a lot of users you may have less bandwidth than someone out in the country.

My boss should be getting his beta equipment today and we'll try it out.  All the reviews I've seen on it say well over 100 down, very minimal downtime that's gotten better with each batch of satellites and is almost eliminated.  Even a blizzard would only slow it down to 20-40.

If I hadn't gotten fiber a couple months ago I would have jumped at the pre-order.

Try 100MBps, although many have been getting close to 150.  Currently no data caps, and they've said they have no intention of having one.  It's only limited by the number of users in a geographical area.
