Protesters showed up the night after the shooting. Even in Seattle the residents are getting tired of the narrative and confronted the protesters calling them "opportunists".  

Seattle police officers shot and killed a person Tuesday night in the Central District near Jimi Hendrix Park. Police said the person was firing a gun at officers and is believed to have fatally shot one person and critically injured another who were found in a car nearby.

Officers responded to the 2300 block of South Massachusetts Street about 9:15 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired, Assistant Police Chief Deanna Nollette said at a news conference at the scene.

Had one of those here in Minneapolis a few weeks ago.  The guy opened fire on the cops, cops returned fire killing him.  People still protested.  Fortunately not very many or for very long.
