constanly have to give out the last four of the social. recently applied for a Lowe's card and had to type in the entire social, the clerk turned away as i did it but why do they need it?? they take all the info off your drivers license... seems like they want your last four of your social just to take a piss anymore!

...yet in SOME places like PA, you don't need to show ID to vote because racism.

A few years ago I was at a drive thru for lunch (can't remember where) and paid with my debit card.
The guy asked me for the last 4 of my social, I said hell no! And the card ran thru fine, shocker!

Way too easy for him to run my card thru a skimmer and steal the info along with the last 4 digits.
iirc I never saw him again.

edit: I remember now, this was at a Dairy Queen.
Yeah I smelled a rat immediately.

My credit card NEVER leaves my hand. If they state they need to swipe my card I just pay cash.

I don't carry cash but I only use a credit card that has a $500 limit when I'm out.
