My son wants to meet me at this town about 90 minutes southeast of here. They're famous for their mountain oysters. But since we have no mountains, they call it the Prairie Nut Hut.

I've only had them once, a long time ago. I hope they're better than my memory of them.

I'd probably try Surstromming before I'd try Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Went to a 'Calf Fry' last year on the night before opening day of pheasant season in Hugoton, Kansas.

It's a big fundraiser for a local charity that whole town helps put together. They cook 800lbs of balls, 600lbs of smoked pork and 600lbs of smoked beef.

All of it was amazing. Really hoping I can make it back this year.
