WTF happened in that PSU/USC game?
I didn't watch it but I was checking the score often and saw that USC looked to be in complete control most of the game.
Then I saw the final score.

That was a HORRIBLE game.

I think it's safe to say Lincoln Riley is officially on the hot seat.

I think Sherrone Moore is in over his head.
Tuttle couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, amazingly he's the best passer we got, he looked like a deer in the headlights looking for a receiver which is unlike him. He's never been great, but he's not this terrible.
Our D did their job, holding Illinois to 21 points. But our offense is non existent.

Then, listening to sports radio this morning the guys clearly didn't watch the game when they say things like "And what Illinois did to Michigan in that game"....
Illinois was lucky to score that many points for one, and Michigan just self destructed. It had nothing to do with the opposing team.

Here are the stats of the game leaders

Good week for muh Penn State boys to have the bye because we have Wisconsin and Ohio State back-to-back.

PSU probably should have lost that game to USC but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I don't want them to get ahead of themselves, but if they can squeak by these next two weeks it will be conceivable for them to run the table and clinch a playoff spot.

Hey, we can dream, can't we?

Is that a good fix?

LOL...yep.

James Franklin MUST have the goods on somebody, because he hasn't gotten by simply on his coaching ability.

Shit show was an understatement.
Sparty gets the ball to start the game, has a great 8 minute drive down to our goal line, misses the FG.
Michigan scores a TD, botches the XP snap.

Michigan finally finds an offense that gains yards (1 rushing yard in the first half and I think 1 1st down).
Squeak out a win. Never a doubt. GO BLUE!

Well I had my doubts when muh Penn State boys were down 10-7 @ half against Wisconsin, and our starting QB Drew Allar tweaked his knee at the end of the 2nd quarter.  :wallbash:

But 2nd string QB Beau Pribula came in and didn't miss a beat, and in fact he turned the game around in the 2nd half.
The D helped him with a huge pick-6 in the 3rd, then he took care of business for the rest of the game and secured the W.
It's nice to see your backup be able to do that when needed, especially in a tough, loud stadium like Wisconsin.

I'm obviously hoping Allar can go next week vs. Ohio State, but if not, I think they still have a good shot at another W with Pribula starting.

I have no doubt that PSU will beat the suckeyes. They've struggled against inferior opponents, even on Saturday they had a hard time against Nebraska.

Michigan QB Jack Tuttle retires from college football.
Injuries a factor.

I hope we have a GOOD red shirt freshman that will see playing time!

"Michigan Wolverines football graduate quarterback Jack Tuttle's long journey playing college football has come to an end. The 25-year-old has announced his retirement from the game.

Tuttle began his career at Utah in 2018, spent four seasons at Indiana and transferred to Michigan in 2023. He was the primary backup for J.J. McCarthy in 2023 and earned one start in two appearances for the Maize and Blue in 2024, before shutting it down with an Oct. 28 announcement. He spent nearly seven full seasons in college football.

The San Marcos, Calif., native will stay with the Michigan team as it prepares for the remainder of the season. The Wolverines are 5-3 and set to face No. 1 Oregon Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor."
