Injuries a factor.

Too bad for him, but at least he got a shot at playing football on the D1 level.
Most kids never make it that far, so even though injuries cut his career short, I hope he doesn't have any regrets.

Hopefully he will finish his degree if he hasn't already done so, then go on to be successful with the rest of his life.

As for the program, Michigan always has a wealth of talent in their pipeline so I'm sure they have other talented kids chomping at the bit and waiting for their own shot.

I hope so. They're not looking too good at all.
We have Oregon next. I foresee a 57-10 loss. They're gonna light us up.

Oregon does look unstoppable, but hey, that's why we play the games.

It wasn't the whoopin that I had expected, but a whoopin regardless.
They're the best team in the country. Period.

And whoodathunk that Indiana would be 9-0?
It's fucking Indiana for cryin out loud!

Everybody they have played sucks. :coffee:

Don't get me wrong, they are actually 'pretty good' this year. They beat teams they should beat by a lot. I give em a good chance to beat Michigan. But Ohio State? I doubt it.

It'd be a shame if the Boilermakers roll into Bloomington on Thanksgiving weekend and ruin their season.

USC had a bye. Looks like Miller Moss is out as starting QB and the UNLV transfer is in. He's hurt us in a few games in crucial points in the game. He's a good kid, but business is business.

Now that I'm a Utah resident, I'll watch the obligatory "Holy War" game; Utah Utes vs. the BYU Cougars. The family has chosen to root for The Utes.

To the Utes complaining about the officiating... STFU. Those were righteous calls. Instant replay bears that out no matter which way you're looking at it.
1) The coach asked for and was granted the time-out. The ref struggled to get the whistle in his mouth. It happens.
2) The holding call... don't like it. Be more disciplined. The defender was holding. If he would have had his hands inside and tight... he probably would have been able to pull it off.
3) Score in the 2nd Half.

It was a GOOD game. 1st half was all Utes. 2nd Half the Utes couldn't do anything.

I can see that call going either way. Joel Klatt breaks it down pretty good, if they were calling that the entire game, then fine. If not, then... it's a shit call.
I only saw the highlight and was watching GT whoop on The U.
Miami didn't play terrible, Georgia Tech just played like the best team in the country. It was a great game.

I thought it was pretty blatant. It all comes down to them not scoring even once in the 2nd half. They score once, they win.

Football 101; NEVER let the game be so close that the outcome could be determined by a ref's call.

Lots of good teams with 2 losses now.  The SEC is is wild this year, lotta upsets.
I know Oregon is good, but they've only faced one Real opponent.  I don't see them winning it all without a bunch of luck.

I did see where LSU was fined 250k for their garbage fans actions on Saturday night.

Yeah that shit needs to stop. It happened in Texas also.
Scour the camera footage and push that fine onto the ticketholders that did it.

We FINALLY won a 1 posession game.

Only like 2-6 on them.

Definitely the first time I've ever campaigned for my team to NOT get into the SEC championship game.

It would suck to lose the championship game and not make the playoffs.
