Former frontman of Great White. 63 years old.
He had a form of dimentia. 
"Russell recently stopped touring after announcing he had been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and Multiple System Atrophy, which causes loss of coordination and balance, and changes in speech."
Saw him in concert a few times, he did some amazing covers of Led Zepplin.

I wasn't a big Great White fan back when they were popular. They were pretty unique for that generation of Rock. That's sad to hear.     All of these people who were popular in my youth dying is making me feel old.

He's had health problems in the past, something about colon cancer or other related colon disease.
