Wow.

I haven't watched it yet, nor do I know who these people are, but damn. Tucker is actually having a constructive conversation?

Tucker has actually had many constructive conversations on his show.

Apparently, you just haven't been listening... :harhar:

I am not ashamed to admit that indeed do *not* listen to Tucker Carlson.  :D

This video popped up on my feed because I've been going through the Ecohealth hearings and now my feed is full of right wing personalities.  I'll have that fixed by the weekend when I start flooding music again. :D

Most people are at least suspicious of Big Pharma. They don't trust the science or the studies that Big Pharma pushes. That is the first step. Someday hopefully those same people will see that there is no difference between Big Pharma and Big AG/Food/Meat. They are owned and controlled by the same investment firms. The big food industry groups, (Dairy board, US poultry and egg assc., National Cattlemens, etc) do all the same lobbying and all the same skewed studies and science to hide the truth about their products that Big Phamra does.

I thought you guys would have stopped listening to Tucker after his "I hate Trump" texts?

The couple in the video talk about this.

I haven't watched the entire thing but I figured this one would be right up your alley.

Personally, whenever someone brings up "Big" whatever I just turn that shit off. It's like a cop-out. Oooohhhh the big bad whatever is out to get me. Sack up and make better life choices and stop feeding Al Gores rhythm.

Newsflash; all companies have 1 purpose; to make money. When they find a thing that is successful they try to replicate that thing across as many applications as humanly possible. It's called business 101.

Quote from: Jeff on August 28, 2024, 06:51 AMWhich firms?

Typically Blackrock, Vanguard, and a few others. You have to do some googling to to go through the layers.

The majority of food is owned controlled by 10 companies.

https://www.businessinsider.com/10-companies-control-the-food-industry-2016-9

Google ownership of anyone of those 10 that are publicly traded and you get the same investment firms.

https://www.kamilfranek.com/who-owns-nestle-largest-shareholders/

The beef industry has different owners but only a handful. Most are still privately owned but some have sold out.

https://www.reuters.com/business/how-four-big-companies-control-us-beef-industry-2021-06-17/

https://www.nationalbeef.com/news/marfrig-purchases-national-beef-ownership-interest

Basically, as James said, all companies want to make as much profit as they can. The big food corps have taken the MO from Pharma to produce skewed studies, junk science, and in general make nutrition science so confusing for most that they just give up and eat what they like to eat.

Probably why there has been a big push making it harder for farmers to earn a living.
Also Bill Gates and China buying up a fuckton of farm land across this country.

Create the products that keep people sick, then create the products that treat symptoms. Money on both ends.
