A high school classmate died of anaphylaxis after eating an egg roll that had apparently been cooked with peanut oil (inexplicably, he didn't have his epipen with him that day).

interesting they conveniently left out what I mentioned on cellulase and fermentation, etc

LOL, the critical stuff like digestive system that determines how we process food doesn't matter then? Just where our eyes are

Can you provide any links to that. I am not familiar with it and would be interested to see some clinical randomize control trials that put it to the test.

I've been agreeing with you on a lot of this thread, but then you brought vision into it, and I couldn't let that go. ;D

but it is one of the most telling signs when you walk around in the bush if you are looking at something that wants to eat you or thinks you would taste gross.  ;)

i'm not a biologist but from 5 min of google it's a fundamental basic difference between actual herbivores (which humans are not, in my layman opinion) and everything else in the animal kingdom. Herbivores can actually digest cellulose for the factors I mentioned, off google, plus their comparatively long digestive tracts but humans can't AFAIK. We don't produce the enzyme for fermentation digestion, if i read/remember it right. Seems like a major blow to sticks and branches diet theory big gov't money goes into promoting. I just cut metal so what do I know.

LOLO, what big gov money goes into promoting plant diets. Go read the USDA guidelines. The entire "healthy recipe section if completely full of animal products.

And to your comment about not breaking down plant cellulose, that is why whole plant foods are healthy. Processed plant foods fully digest and lead to all kinds of poor health outcomes.

Oh yeah, again, please provide some actual scientific studies to back up your opinion.............

what's the point of not digesting stuff you eat? is their some pleasure factor of crapping undigested plant matter? Where is your study on butthole damage?

Can you admit to the presence of actual carnivores in nature? I know it sorta goes against your religion. But do we need a peer reviewed study for that?

Whole plant foods are nutrient dense, calorie light. Your gut microbes extract the needed nutrients and you discard the rest.

LOL, now you are just being ridiculous. I have never denied carnivores in the animal kingdom. In fact, like the chart I posted a little while ago, I have not only acknowledged them, but shown how they are very different from humans.
