I've had covid twice (yea, it really works cough cough)    and the flu twice since January of 2020.

Flu kicked my ass.

I was vaccinated because my girlfriend works for a school and had a immunocompromised grandfather who was in his 90's. I would have felt like a real ass hole if I would have infected him and he would have died.

And This is My Point. My Mom is 91 and diabetic.

I asked what she wanted for Her Birthday. "A Milky Way Midnite"

I bought her a Whole Fucking Bag.

My Sister Laughed and said "yea It hasn't Killed her yet"

Flu kicked my ass.

The first time I got Covid I thought I was going to die. I felt like I was starting to go in to shock and I was having a really hard time breathing. That lasted about a day. After that it was just a miserable flu. By the second week I couldn't smell or taste anything but I felt like I was getting over a cold.

The second time I got it, I barely got sick. 

Both flu's were pretty typical. I felt like crap for a couple of days and then was fine but with the sniffles and a hack. 

That first bout of Covid was no joke.

Yeah. I've had it about 3 times. Lasted 5-7 days. 4 just staying in bed.

The unfortunates you know who have died (RIP), at most, I've read "someone knows 3 or 4 people"?
Are they all similar area to you?

They are all in this State.  Most were friends, friends family, and my girlfriends friends and family.

Four of them I would consider close. Two were parents of high school friends. Two were personal friends from high school. The rest were just known through families. Several I've never met personally.
