He says he is a Trump supporter and not an assassin.
The gun charge was for possessing a high capacity magazine (10+ rounds)
I have no idea what the fake passport and license plates are about.
The guy probably had a forged registration sticker on his car because he couldn't afford to register his car.
At any rate that's all they've got him on. He's out on $50K bail

He's not an illegal immigrant so he doesn't rate a free pass. 
Typically, they will not grant bail unless they are confident that they know a suspect's true identity.

I like our current Sherrif, but it looks like he kind of jumped the gun on this one.
