We got a tool in that I'm supposed to lay up on. It's 9 feet wide x 30 feet long. As far as I know, no one with any knowledge of my processes was consulted. It just showed up. It's barely usable. The first thing out of my mouth when I saw it was "that's just stupid". It's going to make our part of the process very painful as well as the downstream processes.

It really starts wearing on you when you keep getting handed a pile of shit and are expected to make something tasty out of it.

So, the company announced today they will be furloughing 700 people. Oddly enough, they will be from the 767 and 777 programs. They say not enough storage space to produce new units.

Also, there is a hiring freeze and overtime has been eliminated.

If overtime is not approved for the program I'm curretly working on, there will be many bricks shit this weekend.
