Oh, nobody said it would be easy.
But as an experienced Infantry Officer I know for a fact that he learned to prioritize mission objectives, and to delegate authority down the chain of command.

IT sounds as though some of the "harpies" are other military guys who think he's unqualified.

Of the Harpies that are shreiking, I'm seeing mostly well entrenched establishment ass kissers and retired ass kissers complaining that the status quo that they have built their entire careers around may be changing... for the good of the American People and they LOATHE the idea of their precious bureaucracy being beat into submission.

Look, I get it. It totally goes against conventional "wisdom". However, did "conventional "wisdom" not create this quagmire? And make no mistake, the military bureaucracy IS 100% a quagmire and getting worse by the administration. We have not won a war since WWII and we've essentially been chased out of 2 countries; Vietnam and Afghanistan. Though in our defense, Afghanistan IS "The Graveyard of Empires" and our military planners and "Intelligencia" were too stupid to know that, or their hubris could not be overcome by our military might.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Trump revealed his new pick for press secretary to a horrified room of reporters Friday: an angry honey badger.

The aggravated little guy will take questions from the press and then leap out from the podium and maul their faces off.

"Is the President racist for calling the coronavirus the Chin---AHHHHHHH!!!" screamed one reporter as the badger cut him off by pouncing onto his head. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Make it stop!"

Another reporter in a fedora then slowly lowered his hand, withdrawing the question he was going to ask.

While members of the press are frightened of the new press secretary, they do say they anticipate less vicious responses than those of former press secretary  Kayleigh McEnany. "Now she scared the daylights out of me," said Jim Acosta. "I'll take the honey badger."

On the badger's off days he will be replaced by a swarm of murder hornets.

I know you are just kidding around. But it is a little funny how we do that. (defining someone by their least defining role). It would be kind of like someone hiring Troy Aikman to be an offensive coordinator and saying, "Really?? a fox anaylist?!!"

I heard a story recently about a Robert Caivins. He was the vice president of Honeywell. He had a stroke and retired from Honeywell, but was missing going to work everyday so he took a job in Home Depot in the electrical department. He never told people about his former job or his PhD in electrical engineering, and so the workers there just thought he was bob from electrical. I wonder how often he got dismissed by people thinking he was just a home depot worker.

I would always say Pete Hegseth is a Fox News contributor with TWO BRONZE STARS.
Don't forget that part, because that means he actually put his own ass on the line and got shot at.

It also means he doesn't run away from conflict but meets it head-on. 

Like Trump himself, the more the establishment doesn't like Pete Hegseth, the better I like him.

That reminds me of when I was coaching baseball... I usually had my Assistants go to Draft. They were much better at it than I was. Anyway, when you're drafting the last couple of players it's always a coin toss... my coaches always picked the kid with the best looking mom.

Used to drive my wife nuts. "Why do you let them do that"? My answer was always the same; they pick the players. It's their job to put together the best team we can. Their picks won us 4 League Division Championships in 6 years. 1 time as a young team. I'd say they did a great job.

Yeah the Tucker thing isn't actually confirmed, so we need to wait and see.

Trump has been putting his 'official' announcements on X and Truth Social just to piss off the MSM, and so far the Press Secretary has not been named there as of this moment.
