Michigan State wasn't highly ranked early in the season but Izzo has them ready for March. As he usually does.

Yeah, MSU is one of those teams you don't really want to play in the tournament because you know they are well coached, and always a tough opponent.

I still like muh Dukies, but they gotta bring the goods every game in the tournament if they are going to win it.

Our game ended wild. Oweh drives and hits shot off backboard with 6.1 seconds remaining. Oklahoma drives down court and Shot is blocked and we get ball. Was very close to having brawl at end. Uk wins 83-82.

Yeah, 18 is alot.

Considering an average team gets 70-75 possessions in a game, 18 is more than 10% of those possessions.

Giving the other team all those extra scoring opportunities is usually fatal, especially when you are playing the elite D1 teams.

But like we were saying about Kansas and Michigan State, Kentucky is always tough come tournament time and they seem to be able to flip the switch even if they are struggling going in.

As we always see in the Big Dance, ANYTHING can happen!

Our second leading scorer is out for the season. I'd be happy with 1 win. Better than last 2 of 3 years.

Kansas with 20 turnovers vs Houston resulted in 26 more field goal attempts for Houston. Turnovers just kill a team's chances. Houston though is a beast on defense though with excellent chance to win it all.

The game was really a lot closer than I thought it would be, especially with 20 turnovers. That was a game we literally threw away.

Kinda the story of our season in one game.

Auburn manhandled by Texas A&M. Buzz Peterson is a very good coach. I was hoping he came to UK but don't think they ever considered him.
