There are a lot of 'good doctors' out there who have genuine concerns about this mRNA vaccine being used on a global scale without knowing the long-term effects, but they are being silenced for questioning the narrative.

I'm still not blindly cheering for Team Vaccine until some REAL data is available.

I got the Pfizer shot - arm pretty sore that night and in the morning. Little under the weather but not bad. Second shot we'll see.

Means next to nothing in reality, Jim. Private industries will enforce vac ID's, such as airlines, cruise ships, etc. Doctor in-person office visits will want to know if vaccinated. Restaurants, hair saloons, and other industries serving the masses will require employees to get vaccinated. This "makes Biden look good" when, in fact, it means next to nothing. As time moves forward, vac ID's will be required throughout large segments of the country.

I survived mine so far. Didn't hurt as bad as wife whined about. She has had a headache since shortly after hers. I got nothing. I attribute that to a generous dose of bourbon after my shot.

I think most people and business will not want the vax ID if it causes a drop to their income. I personally will boycott any business that demands it even if I do decide to get the vaccine.

Pfizer and Moderna efficacy rates were shown to be 95 and 94% in their trials. J&J around 66%. But there's a catch (read it from a good source). Efficacy rates aren't that important and misleading comparing the 3 vaccines. Pfizer and Moderna ran their trials in mid summer last year when infection rates were lower on the charts. J&J did there's a month or more later, when infection rates were spiking much higher on the chart. Also, P&M did their trials solely in the U.S., J&J did there's across the globe (Brazil, Mexico, S. Africa, etc. as well as the U.S.). Pf. had 43,000 participants, Md. had 37,000. Not sure about J&J but it was about the same.

The real important stat (far more important than "efficacy rates" we constantly hear about) is hospitalizations and deaths. In all 3 vac trials, they reported zero hospitalizations or deaths. That's a really large sample size when compared to other vaccine trials.

SUMMARY: You and your better half got a kickass vaccine.
