Good for 'ol Joe. Anything he can do to wad up the panties of those who voted to put a convicted felon back in the White House is pure comedy gold.

No, the comedy gold is that the Dem's empty pantsuit got fewer votes that the (temporarily) convicted felon.

It will be even funnier when the case against Trump is overturned, and Marchand is censured or disbarred.

Now THAT will be something to laugh at!

For those who wish to remain blissfully ignorant, weapons grade rose colored glasses are very helpful,
but it's hard to beat a completely closed mind.

He/Him (presumably... but you never know)  needed those weapons grade rose colored lenses to go along with that weapons grade lawfare he/him had to not see.

Hmmm...apparently asking for some kind of factual information from a credible source is considered closed minded by some folks around here. :headscratch:

Imagine my surprise. :)

As far as pardons go, yes, Joe Biden has the power to pardon his son, and he did so, calling it 'politically motivated', and a  'miscarriage of justice'.

Many people don't like it, but it is within his Constitutional authority.

Remember that door swings both ways.
I hope the libs are just as gleeful when Trump pardons the January 6th protestors who are STILL being held in more deplorable conditions than the terrorists at Gitmo for an alleged 'insurrection' for which ZERO people have been charged with, you know, insurrection.

Yep.
The President has the authority to correct politically motivated miscarriages of justice via the Presidential pardon, so we'll see how the left and the MSM react when Trump does the SAME THING.

Bookmark this thread for future reference when libs heads will be exploding.

For YEARS CNN was he/him's gold standard for journalistic excellence and integrity. Now they are turning on his peeps, imagine my surprise #NotSoCredibleAnymore...

There are no sources against smitforbrains and bucky's team credible enough in existence therefore he/him is right, and everyone else is wrong.

Gotcha.

There's silver lining in the cloud with this pardon. It's hard to find but it's there.

Hear me out... so, Hunter's pardons span from today back 10 years. Perfect.

1) The next congress can subpoena him. He will have to answer any and all questions posed regarding any and all (mala in se and mala prohibitum) criminal  activities. He CANNOT plead the 5th as he is shielded from prosecution. If he perjurers himself he will not be shielded from prosecution as this will be a new crime. #StandBy this will get interesting.

2) Using Joe Biden's own words in the pardon's press release,
QuoteWithout aggravating factors like use in a crime (mala in se), multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form.
46  just admitted this "crime" of lying on a federal form, really isn't a crime at all. Cool.

Personally, I think Form #4473 is unconstitutional. I should be able to go down to the LGS show my ID, and buy a firearm and walk out. 4473 should not even exist. This may open the door for that eventuality as well as all the others that got caught lying on the 4473 being able to appeal those convictions.

We may be seeing 4D Chess play out on this front too.

We shall see.
