I've always found it peculiar that the same people who like to talk about all of the progress we've made regarding race relations just love to bring up 200 year old racism and pretend that it is still some how relevant today.

Not complaining, but I am slightly baffled how the jury could have been deadlocked on the more serious charge, but vote to acquit on the less serious one.

Unless there was just one guilty vote on the more serious charge who finally said, fuck it. Lets go home.
