Some people used heroin in college and didn't die from it. I'm just saying, that doesn't make it healthy.

you are a smart guy, you surely realize that I was using a philosophical technique in which you take an easily understood real world situation to compare to a less easily understood real world situation to prove that an idea can be true. the idea being that just because a person did something and had no "worst cause effect" doesn't mean that it might not be harmful to a significant amount of other people.  Maybe one person smoked cigarettes his whole life and lived to be 90, it still doesn't mean that smoking is good for you. Heavy metal and heroin are not the same thing. neither is tobacco and heavy metal music. Even one heavy metal song is not the same as another heavy metal song.

what is true though, is the term garbage in-garbage out. My mother use to tell me that to keep me from putting terrible stuff into my brain. I believe she was right about that.

I've been talking to him for over a decade and I still can't tell.  haha.

He's one of those dudes you could be sitting next to in a bar and think, what in the hell is this guy talking about.  Then, 15 minutes later you'd finally get it and think that it took you way too long to figure it out.
