Is every senior person, in every gov dept, in every country, not fit for purpose?
Do they all have their hands in the cookie jar and on the take?

But there is a catch

And the left views California as the blueprint for the way they want the entire nation to look. :coffee:

Need help putting out a fire? Great! But first let us ensure your fire engine passes our environmental regs.

Need to hire for leadership positions in a fire department, in one of the most fire prone places on earth? Great! Somebody find us a bunch of butch lesbians.

Need to store water from record rainfall/snow melt? Yeah... Sorry. But, Delta smelt.

I don't need to look at it to know it's fake because it was posted on X and not on MSNBC or CNN's website.

Dave Rubin nails it in that video.

California is a one-party state.
So that means the Dems have to own the MASSIVE failures of their state government.
Every.
Single.
Time.

But instead, all we hear is the knee-jerk deflecting to blame climate change, and ZERO solutions.

Maybe someday common sense will prevail and the voters there will elect competent leadership, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Fine. I will concede that these fires were 100% cause by climate change.

Will they concede that the response to these fires, the negligence, incompetency, the abject failure to protect lives and property was 100% caused by them?

Somehow, I doubt it. :coffee:

cali water is very complicated.  if your really interested you need to go back to the 1800's and read some background on Henry Miller and Charlie Lux.  these two completely changed the future of water in the California central valley that affected the entire state.  Where i live, we have all the water we could every need.  but from SAC (west and south) its a real mess that has been in litigation since the 1800's.  Farmers want water and NGO's want to stop water from being used.

Mark Twain once said.  "Whiskey is for drinking and water is for fighting"  that sums up cali water pretty well.

 Works for Spain too:-
Every year doesn't rain for 10 months so everything is really dry.
Sun beats down every day with a seasonal swing from 10c to 40c.
Mostly days here in utopia are 15c to 32c.....but last years "1x deg c rise of glowball warming" caused all the spontaneous combustion, because it was average 16c > 33c....although we sometimes have over 40 when the planes spray us to death with the milky sky  :realmad:
Errrr, but no, the major fires never happened though, because as i said the Gov banned the farmers burning and the only spontaneous combustion that happened was at the side of the roads where the smokes were dropped
So even if the 1c was real :more:  then how does a forest burst into flames at 43c, where last year it never did because it only got to 42c
