I was reading this morning on my way to the coffee maker and I read there was a battery storage facility in Eaton Canyon.

The facility is operated by Vistra Energy, a Fortune 500 firm based in Irving, Texas

Tell me how well run a state is when it hasn't spent wasted billions on a high speed rail that is 10 years behind schedule and $100billion over budget and not scheduled to be finished anytime soon. Or has so much red tape and restrictions it takes years to get a critical water reservoir cover patched.

About all you can do with these fires is stand back and watch it burn...
and try to keep it from spreading.

Spraying water on a lithium battery fire is ineffective and creates highly toxic runoff.
but hey, it's GREEN so it's all good.

Is this honestly going on? Neighborhood residents are being held inside of their "zone" by military, and residents cannot leave the zone or they will not be allowed to return. So they are getting food and supplies delivered to a corner and they come and retrieve it to bring home. How is this legal?
